Grandmaster JinBodhi’s Treasure Cove
Guanyin Bodhisattva

This white porcelain 87-centimeter-high Guanyin Bodhisattva statue stands barefoot on the double-lotus throne atop a base of nine centimeters. The finishing is white and delicate, almost resembling an enamel jade. Guanyin Bodhisattva is depicted with a pleasantly round face and a calm and peaceful demeanor, eyes slightly closed as if watching over all beings with immeasurable loving-kindness. The left hand is cradling a scroll of sutra while the right hand gesture denotes the transmission of teachings. Dressed in a fluid gown and adorned with a necklace, this Ming dynasty Guanyin Bodhisattva emanates serene dignity.
