You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.
— Jim Rohn
The demands of the modern world often leave us feeling exhausted and even helpless. It is not uncommon for people to feel victimized by circumstances. However, we have far more positive power than we realize.
In the quest to keep our mind clear and balanced, there is no question that a healthy, fit and flexible body is of paramount importance. The journey toward improving our health lies in our hands. We must take full ownership of it and stop making excuses or leaving it to someone else.
A jug is filled drop by drop. Every positive step taken is a step which generates better health and a more illuminated experience of life. Many of our Bodhi Meditation practitioners have taken the first step by joining the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat; others have started walking Energy Bagua. Over time, they are freed from the shackles of pain, transforming their lives through outer changes as they become aware that their outward behavior is the manifestation of one’s inner energy.
Grandmaster JinBodhi encourages one to do a good deed every day. Bodhi practitioners heed his advice, knowing that compassion is the cornerstone of good health for the individual and the world. In following the Way, our compassion is not limited to our parents — our filial piety is Universal love extended to all, which is filial piety at its highest octave.
Unless you take full ownership of your life, there will be no change. Let the blazing light of life guide you to stay consistent, compassionate, and committed on the path to accomplishing your goals.
